Tips to rock a swimsuit for Plus sized ladies

I am excited to share with you  tips I think will help make you look your best as a Plus sized lady in a swimsuit. The goals are to flaunt your assets and look confident in your swim wear. I hope you find them useful.

1)Pattern, print, design and color: A good example of a flattering design  to hide the midsection is to use a faux wrapped front draped across the midsection(see picture below). It is also advisable to choose dark colors rather than bright ones. When trying  to choose  pattern, try to use the patterned or flowery designs on areas you want to flaunt and plain/dark colours on parts you want to cover.(see picture below for style inspo😉).

2) Consider your body shape: For big breasted ladies it is good to have a swim suit with an in built bra, wire mesh or a bra cup that fits. It is also possible to buy your top different from the bottom as far as the colors blend or complement each other. Pear shaped ladies can try swim suits that attract one's attention upwards. This can be achieved by using beautiful prints, colors, flattering neck cuts, and designs. Hour glass ladies can try on different designs, especially those that accentuate your small waist. Round shaped ladies can try on swimsuits with halter neck and plunging neck lines, you can also try swimsuits with ruffles . Ladies with inverted triangle shape can wear swimsuits that would draw attention upwards, rectangular shaped ladies can try belted waist swimsuits.. the options are limitless, these are only suggestions, just  wear what makes you feel comfortable always.

3) Pay attention to the pant/bottom: If you do not mind drawing attention to your thighs then low cut pants are okay, but if you do, then try the bottoms with a little bit more coverage as they make the thighs look slender. A High-waisted bottom can also be used to cover any extra bulge or love handles.😉..

4) Pay attention to the straps: If you have got back fat it is best to look out for bolder straps as thin straps may not look as flattering as you wish. Bold straps have a way of covering/smoothing over any back fat making it less visible.

5) Accessorize : You can accessorize using sarongs, jewelry, scarfs... you name it. The key is to use them skillfully. Sarongs can serve as an accessory and a fashionable way of covering a bulging tummy. A statement neck jewelry can serve as a good way to focus one's attention to the top and de-emphasizing the tummy and waist. Remember to use whatever works and is most comfortable.
